Vampire Connection (printed english rules available)

The Vampire connectionA game by Henning Poehl
A game for 3-6 players from 16 years.
Playing time: approximately 60 minutes

What's it all about?
In this game, you take on the role of a vampire and must provide yourself with blood.
To do this, you visit a nearby village and carry its inhabitants off to your castle, in order to more easily get their blood. But you are not alone, other vampires are also keen on the inhabitants of the village and they won't hesitate to steal them from your castle. The competition among the vampires is rough and the life of an immortal, which depends on that red elixir of life, is not that easy.
It is apparent that there are vampire hunters in abundance throughout the area and they consider it their sacred task to drive stakes into the hearts of peaceful vampires. But, fortunately, you have a hunchback assistant, that can revive you.
What's that?
You just sent him away?
Well, that wasn't too bright of you...
How will you do as an immortal?
The winner is the one among you who sucks the most blood from the village that you afflict.

Ruhe in FriedenA game by Henning Poehl
Abother morbid card game for 3 to 5 players.
Playing time: approximately 60 minutes

What's it all about?
Things have become tight in the Plüngarden cemetery. Only 5 gravesites are left.
Unfortunately, it is the dearest wish of your relatives to be buried in those graves. You can tell which grave each particular relative would like by looking at their cards.
However, your relatives are not the only elderly persons in the village. There are many other old people still among the living who also yearn to be buried in those last remaining graves in the cemetery. Thus, your task is to ensure that death catches up with your relatives as quickly as possible in order to prevent one of the other old folks from snatching a grave away from your family. As an aid to that process, you should also be concerned about the health of the other elders and struggle to make sure that they stay as healthy as possible. The player whose relatives are most satisfactorily accommodated in their choice of graves at the end of the game wins.

A morbid dice and card game for 2 players.
Playing time: approximately 45 minutes

What's it all about?
Dance of death (Totentanz) is a card game with a real board game flavour. The almighty power of the dead was established in the 14th century via a dance. A dance that called the living to the dead, a dance that forced the unwilling. A dance that nobody could resists, be they young or old, rich or poor, everyone’s the same to this dance. In this game featuring intricately-rendered artwork on the cards, this concept is used and updated to modern characters. Two players let Death dance in a circle around a group of different people and show the power of death over life.

Egg On (The english rules as pdf-file)

Auweier A mating game for screwy birds.
A game by Henning Poehl
A game for 2-4 players from 12 years
Playing time: 30-45 minutes

What's it all about?
In this game, the players slip on the feathers of a male bird. Through the use of bridal gifts (worms) they try to convince the stunning females (in the middle of the table) that they would be the best fathers for their eggs. During the course of the game, the males try to mate with the females in order to achieve paternity over certain eggs.
However, not all the eggs are equally valuable. The first egg in a nest scores fewer points than the third. Also, there are females who are better suited for mating (they have the matching color) and their eggs thus earn a bonus.
The King of the Nest will, without a doubt, be the one who manages to mate with all the females, i.e. to collect eggs in all the colors.

Null Bock (The english rules as pdf-file)

Null BockA game by Henning Poehl
An exceptional trick-taking game with 60 cards for 3 to 6 players.
Playing time: approximately 20 minutes
[Trans. note: The title of this game is a pun in German with no direct equivalent in English. In Germany, young people say "Null Bock" if they don't want do something, i.e. "I don't care about that!". Also, some older people refer to young people as the "Null Bock" generation. In the game, the "Null Bock" is the buck numbered zero, who doesn't want fight, he just goes his own way - CPC]

What's it all about? In this game, the players are part of the rut (mating season).
The Bucks fight for the Hinds, which are placed in the middle of the table.
Each player tries to place the Alpha Stag and, by doing so, to conquer a harem of Hinds.
At the end of the game, the player with the best harem (total sum of the numbers) wins.
Explanation of concept: The middle of the table represents the Arena in this game. The Hinds gather here and the Bucks fight over them. The Buck that conquers the Hinds in the Arena is the Alpha Stag. Many cards may be played into the Arena during the course of the game. The area immediately in front of a player is called the Fringe. "Hangers-on" Bucks appear here and wait at a respectful distance from the Alpha Stag for a chance to conquer a single Hind. Each player's Fringe may have a maximum of one card at the end of each turn.

Spidertwist (The english rules as pdf-file)

SpidertwistA game by Henning Poehl
Players: 2
Playing time: 20-30 minutes

What's it all about?
Spidertwist (Spinnentwist) is a ‘love’ game. Each player tries to bring 10 male spiders to a female. The goal of the males is to mate with the female (who owns the web). The males must move very carefully, though. A single wrong move and the male ends up in the stomach of the ‘love-hungry’ female. And when a male makes such a mistake, it lets the others move about without fear for a short time while the female’s hunger is satisfied – a chance to move closer to the female without being noticed.

Spidertwist is a tactical game with simple rules that gains special attraction from the fact that the goal of the game is also the source of the danger. Two different webs (game boards) allow various starting configurations of male spiders and promise much enjoyment over many games.

Integralis (The english rules as pdf-file)

IntegralisThe big free-for-all at the bookbinding shop.
A game by Henning Poehl.
A game for 2 to 4 players from 16 years.

What's it all about?
Integralis is a game about the bitter fight to fulfill jobs. In this game, you are the leader of a project team in a bookbinding shop.
Together with your team (your cards) you try to handle the mountain of incoming jobs. There are small orders, which are relatively easy to fill but yield only small profit, and big orders, for which a great deal of work must be done.
Big jobs also bring big profits, however. The prize that your team receives for a successfully completed job is dependent on the number of tasks.
However, the number of machines is limited and the competition among the teams is rough. No methods are shunned in the constant effort to keep away opposing workers or hinder their performance, not even bribery or sabotage.
The only thing that matters at the end of the game is which team has the most money.
